We have received notification that some customers have received calls that appear to come from a local Kinney Drugs phone number that we believe to be the result of a "Spoofing" scam. We have information that this could be a national issue, as Kinney Drugs is not the only company reporting similar experiences.
Kinney customers have reported that these "robocalls" say: "the application was denied" or "please try again later" or "there is an error". If you receive a call that looks as if it came from Kinney Drugs and the "robocaller" asks for personal information, please HANG UP and call your local pharmacy to speak with us directly. It may be a legitimate call from us, but to be certain we ask that you call us directly. Thank you!
